Hazmat Incident at SLU
MARCH 04
- After a long night and morning of fighting fire, Canton Fire was called upon once again to serve another aspect of the fire service, the hazmat incident. Tones dropped while teams were wrapping up at a structure fire on the O'Horo Road and dispatch transmitted a confirmed ammonia leak at SLU's Appleton Arena. Working Barn Fire On The Sykes Road
MARCH 03
- Wednesday evening at 2024, tones were set off by St. Lawrence County 911 for a report of a barn fire on the Sykes Rd. Erik Johnson and Brian McCluskey the 2nd and 3rd Assistant chiefs were enroute immediately from the station as Chief Mike Dalton followed shortly behind. Working Garage Fire on the Finnegan Road
FEBRUARY 27
- Early Saturday morning the tones dropped for Canton Fire to respond to a possible garage fire on the Finnegan Road. 2nd Assistant Chief Erik Johnson and 3rd Assistant Chief Brian McCluskey immediately responded to the Finnegan Road. FEBRUARY 26
- A quiet Friday afternoon for Canton Fire/Rescue was interrupted by the tones being dropped for a 2 car motor vehicle collision at USH 11 and the Eddy-Pyrites Road, with possible serious injuries and entrapment.
