Tower Goes Mutual Aid To DeKalb APRIL 04 - At 1122 hours Canton Fire was requested to respond with Tower 1 to a working fire at 2901 CR 17 in the Hamlet of DeKalb Junction. The building, a former roller rink, currently contained storage along with several apartments. Tower 1 and Engine 8 were enroute at 1124 hours and arrived on scene 16 minutes later. Two Car MVA Sends 2 To CPH MARCH 22 - Canton Fire / Rescue and Pyrites Fire / First Responders were toned out at 1758 hours for a reported 2 car mva at CR 25 and the Pink Schoolhouse Road with possible serious injuries. Assistant Chief Bob Crowe responded from about a mile away on CR 25 while A-131 went enroute at 1759 hours. Tower Goes Mutual Aid To Gouverneur MARCH 16 - Central Dispatch activated the tones at 2228 hours for Tower 1 to respond to a structure fire on Trinity Avenue in Gouverneur. The tower was enroute 4 minutes later with Engine 8 following shortly thereafter. The 23 minute response put Canton units on scene just before 2300 hours.
