Canton Fire and Rescue was alerted for automatic aid to Pyrites Fire for a fire in the woods at 143 North Woods Road at 1312 hours. Engine 8 responded at 1320 hours with Tanker 20, Rescue 36 and UTV 4 responding shortly there after. Crews worked by hand in the woods for a little over an hour to contain and ultimately extinguish the fire. No injuries were reported and all units were back in service at 1450 hours.
