I have made a special plan to visit the children of the Canton community. Please plan to join me on Saturday, November 28th from noon to 2pm as I travel through the village with the help of my dearest friend, Chief Bob Crowe, and the members of Canton Fire & Rescue. You can spot us in Engine 9, the antique fire truck, along with Sparky the fire dog. We will be traveling the following route beginning at Canton Fire & Rescue Station, 77 Riverside Drive:

Down East Main to left on College, right on Elm, left on Park, right on Maple, right on Miner, right on Lincoln, left on Park, left on West, left on Miner, right on Lincoln, right on Buck, left on Miner, out to Main St, Left on East Main to right on Gouverneur St. – right on Law Lane – leaving Law Lane take right on 11 and then right on Commerce over to Martin tract. After my Christmas journey through the village, I invite you to shop that same day at Canton’s businesses as part of “Shop Small Weekend.” Restaurants will be happy to receive you and I’ll expect you to eat plenty of cookies on my behalf. I look forward to waving to you and seeing your smiling faces!
